Je hebt plenty keukenhulpjes waarvan je je afvraagt waarom ze in vredesnaam zijn bedacht. Zo kreeg ik ooit een ‘Kiwi Guard’ in mijn kerstpakket. Sorry Vacu Vin, maar wat… where you thinking? 
Toen mijn moeder met de ananassnijder aankwam, waren m’n verwachtingen dan ook niet al te hoog gespannen. Maar wat een uitvinding! Ik koop niet zo vaak een ananas, omdat het zo’n gedoe is zo’n ananas te schillen. Maar ik heb nu geen excuus meer. Want die ananassnijder werkt dus echt als een tierelier (zoals dit filmpje). Die van mij is van Vacu Vin en bijvoorbeeld te koop bij de blokker.
